“Home Craft 101: Designed for the avocational bartender, each class will focus on a specific cocktail and will include instructions and recipes regarding spirit selection, crafting mixers from scratch, and garnishing, as well as the techniques required to bring the whole thing together. Additionally, we’ll be discussing tips and tricks for building and using a home bar, from buying your first bottles to the best way to use an existing collection for an upcoming party. Whether you’re taking your first steps in the world of mixology, or you’re a seasoned house party host, there’s going to be something for everyone to learn.”

Kendall King Bio:

“A second-generation service industry professional of nearly 15 years, Kendall has been a mainstay of the Atlanta bar scene where he has honed his unique style of craft cocktails in venues across the metro area, all the while mentored by some of the city’s best bartenders and chefs. A lover of what he calls “Refined Nostalgia,” he specializes in taking classic flavor profiles and utilizing them in unique and elevated ways. For him, bartending is equal parts art, magic, and science, and he hopes to bring that sense of wonder, curiosity, and creativity to the masses.

Currently, he manages the bar program at Longleaf, the bistro-styled restaurant located in the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. You may also see him running pop-up bars and guest shifts at a variety of locations throughout the city, including Mambo Zombi and the Georgia Beer Gardens. Focused on local sustainability and community engagement, he has spent his recent years developing a network of talented industry personalities and unique venues that he one day hopes to turn into a centralized resource for community and industry-wide development.
