Beware of Scammers and Suspicious Emails!

It looks like someone may have created an email to look like an Invitation from us with Punchbowl in a phishing attempt. Please do not click any links in the email. Actual invitations from Punchbowl, will come from mail@mail.punchbowl.com

Scammers are sending fake Punchbowl e-invites in phishing campaigns designed to steal your personal information, hijack your email account, or install malware on your device.

Recently, we have been alerted that invitations from “Punchbowl” have been sent to people on our mailing list and appear to come from Susan and Leaning Ladder. We did not send these messages.

Although this time it was Punchbowl, BE AWARE of other attempts by bad actors that may try to dupe you via your inbox or text messages.

What do you do with the suspicious email?
If you’re concerned about an Invitation or Card that you received, you can take the following steps to protect yourself: 

• Do not open it, and do not click on any links within the email if you do
• Mark the email as spam within your inbox.
• If the message is from someone claiming to be Punchbowl, please forward the email to help@punchbowl.com Their team is available to help verify what is legitimate and what is not. If we confirm a message is fraudulent, we will report the phishing link to the proper anti-phishing and security organizations.

All legitimate emails will come from our email addresses or Mailchimp. If you are concerned about a message, check the sender and/or call us for clarification.
